wheel throwing
Wheel Throwing classes are offered in 5-week cycles by and are designed to grow your skills on the wheel and introduce you to various glazing techniques.
Classes are suitable for beginners through to advanced throwers. Class numbers are capped at 6 students, enabling us to guide you through all the processes.
Students can anticipate making a range of objects over three weeks at the wheel for example bowls, cups, hug mugs and plates. The fourth week of the class is all about finishing the works through trimming and exploring surface decoration & adding handles. The final class completes the process by exploring glazes and various application techniques.
Your works are stoneware fired at the end of the cycle and are available within two weeks.
